Mahalo has the best view in Lobitos, It's located right in front of Piscinas which is one of the waves you can surf. The host "Chato Pepe" is the best host you can ask for. Super friendly guy, and if you are planning to go surfing he will take you to his favorite spots. Mahalo is perfect to relax, have a beer and make a BBQ.. But mostly a place to chill.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
It really is the best view in Lobitos! Jerry is a great host and very helpful, the house itself is very clean and modern and has a cool vibe. The rooms with balcony are looking directly at the surf spot and you have an amazing view across the whole bay. I spend a lot of time on that balcony and watched some amazing sunsets 🌅. To get to the spot you can quickly walk down a small path, it's very close. The WIFI is quite good and I was able to do some remote work. I hope to be back some day (hopefully with better waves 🙂).
Manager and care taker super friendly and nice and helpful! Our double room was beautiful and clean and with an amazing view. The common areas are just on the beach in front of the wave. Few minutes walking anyway from the tiendas. Probably the only place with a kitchen! Cheap surfboard rent as well.. just amazing!!!
The hostal was in a great location literally on the beach. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Was only planning on staying for a couple of days but ended up staying for 4 because we loved it so much. Would definitely recommend!

Great location, beautiful garden and rooms. Manager/owner was very welcoming. When I was walking across town with my suitcase he even offered to pullover and give me a ride.
