The hostel/hotel felt secure, but we probably wouldn't want to put it to the test. The staff were friendly enough and provided extra toiletries when we needed them. Wifi/internet/network was good in the room, and Netflix was available on the TV.
The room was warm, but a decent fan was provided (a bit too noisy to have the large window open at night).
The bedroom had a wall light over the bed in addition to 2 ceiling lights, but overall, the coverage was poor.
The bathroom had an electric shower, so hot water at all times.
Hooks were available in the bedroom for coats and bathroom for towels.
