Jorge was a great host. Breakfast was very good and his location right above Playa Palmar was excellent. We upgraded from a downstairs room to adjoining rooms upstairs with a balcony - well worth the price.

The 3 boys who run this (18, 20 & 23) for the parents are very nice. The location is OK with a short walk to the beach. The room was fine and the bed was comfortable but the AC is old / needs coolant and could not keep up during the mid day heat. Nice washing machine available for use. The old fridge works OK and the gas stove was fine.

Beautiful location. Very thoughtful details and friendly people. Most restaurants are drive away but the small Chinese place that’s walkable was solid and cheap. Breakfast is decent, could benefit from a few more choices.

The breakfast was superb. Anne Marie is an excellent, communicative host. Her property is lovely, and we felt as though we were long-standing friends. The beach and a nice restaurant are within walking distance. Due to an unforeseen personal issue, we had to leave early. I can't wait to return for a longer stay.

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
We booked a cabin with a kitchen - which turned out to be a separate cabin! Everything we needed was there - including basic spices and ground coffee. The blender was amazing - and we had fruit smoothies for breakfast and fancy fruit drinks after sunset. Because there are no places to eat within walking distance - this worked very well for us.
Just one other cabin was occupied during our stay - so it was very quiet. And the beach is indeed within walking distance - and was very nice and relaxing.
Communication on how to get there & during my stay with Jose was great. It’s located right on the beach, it’s pretty calm & quiet with a nice group of fellow travellers. Functional kitchen & supermarket on the main road where the bus drops you off - which is an easy 10 minute walk.
I especially loved that the beach was in walking distance, and was almost totally, if not, unoccupied ! And the water/sand gorgeous IMO. Make sure, especially if not vehicle, to walk about 300 yds north to eat at a fonda recessed a tad off the beach. Good food, with excellent prices, and the pino colada was awesome ! Hope it's there while you are. I also loved the simple, outdoor shower; I got much more hot wate there as well. The front deck, with chairs/small table, and hammock was nice too.The grounds were quiet overall too.
We love the view and the enjoyable wind. The beach was outside with all the facilities and clean all way. The people were nice and charming. I recommend this place because it has everything right with the pictures and beautiful balcony.
very nice place in the middle of nowhere, nice staff, good communication before check-in, basic but very tasty breakfast included, I was almost alone there during my stay - so amazing peace and quiet (and for excellent price), good WiFi; 30min driving to El Valle
