We had an amazing stay at Oasis Bluff Beach! The service provided by Alex and Choy was absolutely impeccable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed in the most incredible and personalized way, with a special touch: our names were displayed on a welcome sign—a thoughtful detail that made all the difference.
The food was absolutely delicious, and every meal was a true delight. We stayed in a room with a jungle view, and hearing the soothing sounds of the animals was a unique and relaxing experience.
The service was flawless, whether at the tables, on the beach, or by the pool. Everything was designed to make us feel pampered at all times.
I highly recommend this hotel without any hesitation, and we will definitely be returning!

Anja is the best and nicest host we ever had. We have been travelling through Panama for two weeks now and have been to fancy hotels far more expensive, but Riva was the very best. Anja serves the best breakfast all fresh and healthy. You can relax during the day on the deck. We really felt welcome. Anja gives you every help to arrange transport. The Island is really relaxed, quiet, but enough nice restaurants.
You cab enjoy the fun of Bocas del Toro, but without the noise and crowd. In two minites by boat you are at Bocas (2 dollar for 2 pers). It is really easy to get a boat.
We would really like to come back someday and recommend you to go to Riva

The place is very cute, we got a general explanation about the area, beaches, restaurants, taxis... The place is very intimate, small, but well maintained, the location is close to the main road and the beaches very helpful to get everywhere easily, we really enjoyed it, we will certainly come back at the first opportunity

The included breakfast was a wonderful treat every morning! Guests have the choice from 3 options. Tours into the area can be booked and arranged by the friendly hosts. Pickup /dropoff with the boat was always on time. We felt thoroughly taken care of by our awesome host family.

Location is perfect, personal is very helpful and kind and the place is great and clean. Only it was quite expensive for what you get, but I stayed there during NYE and all the places were expensive in Bocas then. The place is not social so not a place to stay if you're looking for social vibes.

The owner is a nice friendly guy. Even if we talked less, we liked him. It’s an old school and the rooms are the classrooms. Is very quiet place not far from a supermarket and the city very achievable whit some volunteers working and living there, which were also very nice and connected to bagpacking idea

Great hostel with fantastic quirky dorms. Great bar with happy hour prices all day for residents. Good reasonably priced restaurant. Friendly helpful staff. Fabulous location on the ocean with waves breaking over a reef. Great surf beach just minutes walk away. I have stayed in hundreds of hostel around the world and Skully's stand out as the best ever experiencced.
We loved the people who ran it, the staff was always helpful and smiling. The atmosphere was laid back. Great tunes (U2, rock and roll, 70/80/90s). The ATV tour is a MUST. There is tons of private land you can access and the views at the Bluff were spectacular. I also got my machine stuck and the staff ran out to help me. They were friendly about the incident and didn’t make me feel bad.
Skullies was great! A much cheaper and better option than many others in bocas! The restaurant was great and the room was exactly what I was looking for. Very useful to have a bar and restaurant at the front door, not to mention the ocean!
Highly recommended- we stayed 5 days at Sol Y Sombra and had a great time!
The rooms are clean, the host Richard (and his lovely dog Sombra :)) were really keen to make this stay as perfect as possible. The daily breakfast with all other guests was really good, including fresh fruit, pancakes, eggs..
Also the location was great as it was super quiet, however the town of Bocas is just max. 10min by taxi away (2€pp).

Great breakfast, Richard was a great host and always went the extra mike to help us out. It is in a quieter location away from town which we liked. Had a nice pool. We saw a sloth and Howler monkeys from outside our room!
Great Hostel with a lot of details and amazing features. The chillout area was the best I've seen so far in a hostel in Panama. The staff is super nice and multilingual with both Spanish and English available.
