For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
We stayed at a chalet, the view was great, breakfast was nice, the room was sweetly decorated, the facilities were clean and even the spa pool was available! Additionally, we've had a lovely Matariki meal prepared for us by Katalina and delivered straight to our room! The town is nice and quiet, with lots of stars at night! Highly recommend.
Close to the beach and quiet live the warm fire place when we came back in the evening. Katalina gave us some yummy homemade cakes and Paul pointed us to the right fishing spots. Will definitely be back again.
Great location with on site bar, restaurant, winery and pool. Golf course looked in super condition.
The Lodge rooms are very spacious with wonderful views over the golf course and coastline.
Lovely reception lady checked us in and took the time to explain everything. Great manaakitanga. I booked separate rooms on 2 nights, but they sorted out the one room. The chalet was all we needed. Bathroom, kitchen, TV, table and couch. Absolutely 💯 perfect.
Great location 100m from a great swimming beach. Great base for the greater Karikari peninsula like Maitai bay only 10 mins away.
I had a great couple of days at the Carrington estate. The staff were friendly and helpful - and even sent me my Kindle back after I forgot it! The private beach was a bonus I didn't expect. I also visited the adjacent vineyard for wine tasting which was a nice experience with equally hospitable people!
The restaurant had great views and great food!
Luxury stay on Karikari Peninsula, a great location for Karikari beaches which are some of the most beautiful in NZ. Rooms were spacious and clean. Pool area was nice with smaller heated pool alongside it.
