The room — and house — was exceptionally clean and well decorated. The facility also had a peaceful, quiet feel.
Mel, our host, was fantastic. She was friendly and helpful. Her breakfast was excellent as well.
The room also had its own toilet, sink, and shower. The water was hot and plentiful. The bed was comfortable. WiFi and TV worked flawlessly.
Parking was ample, the flowers and grounds were well maintained.

The house is kept immaculately, beds are comfortable, breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Pam and Ollie are charming hosts with lots of good stories about the area. And the garden is pretty with sheep across the drive in their paddock. Perfect low key, cosy place to stay.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
From the outside it might look a little rough but the room was actually really nice and super good size with everything you need. Host was super lovely and helpful as we got to the motel late so she'd turned the heat pump on for us. Nice and quiet and I like their sustainability focus. And great location and price.

Gorgeous decor and a very welcoming atmosphere with many little extra touches making it feel luxurious. It was such a lovely space to spend our first night in NZ after a long day - flying into and driving from Christchurch. Very quiet and private but close to town amenities.
