The location was excellent for us, being both central and quiet. So easy to walk to The Basin, with eateries, beautiful esplanade and places of interest.

A private & quiet location with a nice outdoors area. Generous sized bedrooms and lounge area plus 2 bathroom ensuites made life easier! Easy drives to Ruakaka, Waipu (for New Years Day Highland Games!), Langs beach, Mangawhai market, Marsden Cove Marina & Whangarei too.
The views were beautiful and the unit itself was gorgeous. Nice big windows, super clean, and spacious. Great little kitchenette. Immaculate grounds. Even in proximity to the main house, it felt very private. My husband said it was the best self-contained booking he had ever stayed at for such a price (he was also comparing to AirBnBs)--and I would have to agree. It was in a great location for our next day of exploring too!
Last minute booking was able to check in straight away Host was very quick at responding. Attended a funeral close by. Loved that it was private, quiet and spacious. Very warm, beautiful shower, full kitchen, most comfortable blankets and bed. Would definitely stay here again in the future.
