Lovely room with sitting area and own kitchenette. Supplies left for breakfast were great. OJ delicious and having plunger coffee great didn't even get that in some hotels I stayed at. Loved the themed rooms.

Matai Huka was lovely - out of town and a little tricky to find the way in through outbuildings, but once we got to our room, it was gorgeous - spacious and elegantly appointed, lovely view of open grounds. Make-it-yourself breakfast was provided in the kitchen area, with various options. Hostess very friendly and charming.

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Brilliant location quiet yet close to main road through to Plimmerton as well as to the Hutt Valley. Remarkably ideal situation for a lovely few days.

Loved being right on the sea front, bed was super comfy. Was super quiet. Room was warm and toasty. Great having a bath with all the added touches, candles, bath salts etc. So many extra touches from complimentary snacks and kitchenette.
Elsie provides everything you could think of. There's a big bath tub (plus bath salts!) and shower, the bathroom has underfloor heating. Hairdryer and plenty of towels. There's a fully equipped kitchenette, snacks and cereals, milk, fruit and yogurt. The bed, pillows are duvet are all comfortable and good quality. A desk to work at with WiFi and a big TV. The view is stunning, as directly on the beach front. I'd love to stay again. Thank you so much for being a great host too! The sunset and sunrise was stunning, perfect location!
Really enjoyed our stay in the extremely comfortable, quiet unit. So appreciated the lovely sunny living area and bedroom, and the couch was perfect for relaxing and reading the information provided about Pukerua Bay and surrounding areas and walks available. Would be very happy to stay again, thanks to our hosts for all the extra touches, it was like home away from home.
