We got a text in advance asking us what we would like for breakfast, and a very good selection was provided. The location turned out to be really good (not knowing the area) as it was very handy to a cafe, a grocery store and several restaurants, as wll as being just a block from the beach.

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Great location and home, helpful host who followed up queries promptly. Welcome snacks and milk provided.
On main road which was a little noisy during day, but quiet overnight.
Great location. The accommodation was so nicely present. New and very clean. Welcoming to walk into, and the breakfast was a bonus (Bread, cereal, fresh fruit, butter, spreads, milk, tea, coffee, and chocolate biscuits).
They even let us park our large American car in their carport. So thoughtful.

Very comfortable two bedroom apartment, very nicely furnished, with off-street parking. Beach towels provided too! Quiet neighbourhood for a great night's sleep. We were met at the door and shown the door code, the apartment is private but upstairs attached to a larger house. We were able to use part of the garden as well, which was handy to dry swim-gear as the apartment is fully carpeted and there is no drying area if you bring wet gear back from the beach. Highly recommend the walk to the summit of Mauao for sunset!
