Jeannette welcomed us with warm hospitality, making our stay very comfortable and pleasant. We stayed in the Skipper Room, and while the bathroom was across the hall, it was private and did not bother us. The wrap-around balcony offered lovely views of the bay, and we thoroughly enjoyed an evening tea with friends.
The entire house was beautifully decorated for Christmas, creating a cozy and homey atmosphere. Jeannette is an exceptional host who genuinely cares about her guests. She prepared a freshly cooked, excellent breakfast and shared plenty of helpful advice for our trip.
Despite a rainy day, we managed to enjoy the Mangawhai Cliff Trail, conveniently located just a five-minute drive from the lodge. Highly recommended for its convenience, the host's exceptional hospitality, and overall comfort!

Was a lovely retreat with all details carefully thought through. The view was spectacular and we had the perfect spot to watch the sunset on the deck. We took full advantage of outdoor dining space, hot tub and more. Kelly and Brett were great hosts!

Lovely, pretty remote rural stay among rolling hills, orchards and dramatic open space. A very zen location, esp if you've got a couple of days to wind down. Kind and engaging hosts, well appointed room.

well appointed apartment with nice views to estuary and dunes. Close to the village facilities but tucked away so quiet and peaceful spot.
Jan was the perfect host - warmly welcoming us to her accommodation. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. The bed was very comfy. The shower fantastic. The breakfast was basic- coffee and toast, yoghurt and cereal, just what we needed to start our day.
It was very quiet, private and peaceful.
Lovely drive up, feels a bit luxury with the private driveway and lovely landscaping. Super friendly guests and team working. Really good atmosphere and quiet, super relaxing. Our room was 3, really nice studio style room, with a decent kitchen and lovely modern bright style. The kitchen is equipped perfectly for couples wanting a bit of a break - we loved the mugs and wine glasses! The TV pulls out so you can snuggle up in bed in front of a film. So ideal!
