Tairoa Lodge, hotel in Hawera

Featuring garden views, Tairoa Lodge in Hawera offers accommodations, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, and a shared lounge.

Location, convenience to event attended, quiet, rural but not too rural - space in the house, inviting on arrival as it was warm, lighting on, felt welcoming and private. It was lovely not to worry about breakfast as it was provided and enjoyable. Great communication from the host.

Perfect place to stay for two nights whilst I attended a local dog agility show. The host, Penny, was easy to communicate with and check-in was quick and hassle-free. The studio was comfortable and well-equipped, with great kitchen facilities and a lovely, modern, clean bathroom. The motel is in a great location, being only a short drive in to Hawera and, despite being on SH3, was pretty quiet.

Great location by car, per bus it is a bit of a walk from the city centre, obviously I knew that in advance. There is also a superette around the corner, so easy to get the basics covered. The room was clean, shower pressure excellent, shampoo and soap provided. Houskeeping was stellar. I also appreicated to get every day a fresh sachet of coffee for the plunger. Stove top etc. worked well and I was able to self-cater. All in all would definitly recommend. I also liked that I was able to use the washing machine and dryer for free.

Great location but nice and quiet. Rooms were impeccably clean, and functional - great outdoor area for little ones too. If we visit Hawera again, we will stay again.
