This was a perfect end to our trip. While it’s peacefully rural, the property is a short drive to town, close to attractions like Hobbiton, Waitomo Glowworm caves, etc. and not far from the Auckland airport. We made the drive to the airport after checking out and made our flight with plenty of time to spare. So glad we did this instead of an airport hotel.
The hosts were so generous, cooking us a hot breakfast each morning, even giving us an aspirin when we realized we were out. They could not have been more lovely. While the room technically had a shared bathroom, the house is so spacious that we didn’t have to share with any other guests. We spent the evenings watching the sun set over the mountains and would absolutely return again.

It is a very funky spacious apartment with luxury touches. The Gully outlook is so serene and private, making for a quiet chilled stay. We loved all the thoughtful personal touches and unique vibe.

It was close enough to the city centre for restaurants and shopping but far enough away to be quiet and not disturbed by traffic. The home was modern and comfortable. Great location to explore the area with your own transport.

We loved the location - very quiet and the garden was superb, with a lovely private area with a table and chairs for guests to relax outside. Every thing was spotless and well appointed with every thing you could need. Comfortable bed and a separate lounge room as well. We appreciated the generous continental breakfast supplies and a jar of cookies to snack on as well.
Close to The Base Shopping centre.
