The pre-dinner drink in the sitting room was an excellent way of meeting other guests and having a convivial chat. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The house and garden had great character, and it is extremely well located for walking into the city and surrounds.

Comfortable, quiet, cozy stay outside the centre of Christchurch. Whole house is decorated very lovingly, familial atmosphere as you see hosts and other guests everyday at breakfast for a little chat. Breakfast continental or cooked breakfasts prepared fresh for you. Hosts were very caring, gave tips for the area, you can pet the dogs.
You park on the side of the road, no problem though as there was always space when we were there.

Comfortable bed and super soft pillows. Superb lounge area available with lots to keep you amused e.g., books and games. Breakfast included was a great bonus, with generous servings. Lovely, quiet, residential location on the hill, with a view you don't normally get when staying down on the flat.

Brenda was exceptional. She not only made us breakfast as per the property description but also assisted us in get to and from the property. The property itself is spectacular and the views are amazing also. I could not recommend this place enough.

Great location that is near to city centre, though shared -- the toilets are private for one person use, great value for money paid, the staff is helpful for smooth check-in, eating spaces below and kitchen provided. Room is clean.

Great location, easy to walk or get a bus into town. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly, including two dogs! The breakfast was great, with both hot and cold options. The attic room was comfortable, quiet, and private. The hosts kindly let us leave our luggage there after checkout as we had a later flight. It was a lovely property. Would definitely recommend!
