Booked on very short notice. Address easy to find. Hosts flexible and very communicative. Exactly the sort of place we were looking for between Auckland and Rotorua. Comfortable beds. Super-clean and tidy. Fresh jumbo eggs and streaky bacon, bread, jams provided for breakfast. Delicious. The best part, though we only met for a few minutes as we departed ( we had arrived late after a flight ), was our host couple, Andrea and Bill. Couldn’t have been more lovely. They were so cheerful, friendly and welcoming.., genuinely interested in our travels and free with tips to make our NZ stay pleasant. Gifted us a rosemary sprig and lemon from their garden as antidote to the hideous air freshener which suffused our rental car. Outstanding folks.

Beautiful location. Peaceful , quiet and very private ,..just what we wanted . Property was spotless. Heat pump kept the whole place nice and warm , as our visit was in the winter . The pool area would be great in summer. Grounds are immaculate.

Great location between Hamilton &Cambridge but in a very quiet , rural location, yet close to SH1.Nice little kitchenette for a do- it- yourself breakfast. Ingredients provided. Perhaps some fresh fruit would have made it better still
