This is a beautiful and historic property. This was our best evening meal in Norway - it was delicious and reasonably priced. The owner of the property was the chef and welcomed us to the property and provided a little history on the property in an informative and charming way. The staff was friendly and helpful; we had been caught in the rain earlier in the day and the desk clerk offered to dry our clothes at no additional cost.

We only stayed for one night on the way home. We had the whole house for ourselves so it was very quiet and comfortable. The bed linen and towels were included, the double bed was too soft though. There was a fully-equipped kitchen with everything you need and a small bathroom with things like shampoo, shower cream, soap and even toothpaste. Wi-fi worked OK.
Such a lovely family and place! Sad i only stayed one night on the farm. Great location, perfect hosts, not more possible!!! When i will be around i will go there 100% again!
It is located in a remote area, 3 km on a climbing gravel road. However, this means peace and quiet. City of Notodden is only 25 minutes away.
