The ownes where very friendly. The bar/ breakfast area was great to sit and play a game in the evening and the rooms where nice and spatial. The location was beautiful and quiet and still close to the centre of Winterswijk.
Excellent breakfast at the bar below the room. The room was big and clean, with a big bathroom incl. a bathtub. No view and a bit noisy in the evening due to the bar below, but that is normal considering the very nice location in the city center.
The timber bungalow is set in a quiet well-maintained complex on the edge of town. It was well presented and met our requirements perfectly. Wonderful cycling and walking opportunities abound, and the town centre can be easily reached within ten minutes by bike.
Right in the heart of this cute village is the Stad Munster. Located in the town square it is a quaint little hotel / restaurant with great facilities, friendly staff and comfy rooms. I had the single room which catered to my needs and provided an excellent setting for me to explore the town, meet some other travellers and enjoy the scenery. The bartender in the restaurant was knowledgeable on the local beers and offered great advice on other places to visit.
