It’s truely a beautiful location. Very calm surroundings with a restaurant around the corner. Ideal! The room and bathroom are very large, airy and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable bed and the curtains make the room very dark for early night sleeping.

The room was great, everything, including toilet, shower and bathroom, was very clean.
Just enough space to sleep (comfortable beds) and change clothes. A cup of coffee or tea was included.
It was Kings Day when we arrived, so we didn't see the host untill the next day, but that was not a problem. The door was open en the key on the inside when we arrived.
Very affordable and perfect for us, as we just needed a place to sleep and shower put our luggage as we toured the island and went horseriding.

It's a first time when a property was larger than on the pictures!! 🔥🔥🔥 (I traveled a lot and can say this! 😁) I absolutely loved my stay there. When I came in, I felt like at home immediately - it was so cozy! Everything is equipped with big care. Design is lovely, I felt so comfortable. Hans is so friendly, he cared about everything. It was so warm inside (I'm writing this review in the winter). I wanted to see the island but the weather was not too good, I wasn't too lucky there. But even sitting in the cozy accomodation when there have been the wind and rain outside was also a pleasure! It was warm and calm. I loved it ❤️🔥

De Oude Skuur is located just outside of Oosterend. It is very nice and quiet. Nice garden to sit in. The room has a separate bedroom. Very modern and well decorated bathroom and toilet. The bed was very comfortable. It had the best breakfast ever! Fresh baked bread, eggs, salmon, yoghurt, more then we could eat.
Great stay in this charming house, and a very nice host who knows a lot about the village and island story. She was very generous with advices on what to do and how to plan the visits of the island. The stay was very relaxing.
Janet was a great host, and provided us with very good recommendations ! Great place to stay especially with a dog. Oosterend is a quiet but very cute town. An amazing weekend in Texel.
Beautifully decorated and comfortable apartment with enough space and all the necessary amenities (to make breakfast as well). It honestly surprised me because it looks and feels better than the photos suggest. The house is incredibly cute and authentic and gives a real Texel vibe. The owner greeted us, showed us around, and for the rest of the stay we had complete privacy. Great location for exploring the island both by car or bicycles. And the neighbor's cat would wait to say 'hi' every morning! :D
