The bed was so comfortable, the room was very, very clean. We arrived late, but the manager waited for us. They were very friendly and really took pride in their hotel. They gave us information about the area, and the breakfast was huge and delicious!

Amazing breakfast, in a hospitable B&B run by two knowledgeable and very helpful people. The building has a great history (see https://www.theprojectheerlen.nl for details) and shows it still. Local artists have made (excellent) mural paintings in the rooms. Our room itself was spacious, light (windows on both sides), renovated with eye for both comfort and historic detail. A 7 minute-walk from the station, and the B&B's rental city bikes were helpful and of a high standard, too.

The room was very comfortable, like a small cozy house. Smart TV, coffee maker, a very comfortable sofa where we had our breakfast :). It was a different experience. We loved the modern and rustic atmosphere of the decor. Everything was very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. We slept like babies. It's very difficult to find anything to criticize. I just wish there was a double duvet on the bed. 2 separate duvets are a bit difficult for a couple, but that's a very small detail considering everything. I can't forget to mention the emergency kit and the special boxes they put for small needs that you have available in the bathroom. This shows how attentive they are, even in the details. The hotel is run by a couple. They are simply lovely. Very attentive and friendly. They welcome you as their personal guests. They prepare your breakfast (delicious) and bring it to your room! We really loved it. As for the location of the hotel, it is simply perfect. You park your car in front of the hotel or in the parking lot 100m away. From the hotel you are only 200m from the city center where you can find all the restaurants you want (there really is an unbelievable amount of restaurants). On foot you can enjoy all the nice atmosphere that Valkenburg has to offer. We loved it and will definitely be our destination again!
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
On my bike pack trip, I booked very last minute at de Pletsmolen. The host called me to check arrival time to make sure they were able to welcome me. At arrival the super friendly host was there to share all details of the accommodation. As well where I could clean my bike, secured storage for the bike, where I could buy food etc etc. Next day a very nice breakfast to fuel for another day on the bike through beautiful South Limburg.
In other words a great host and accommodation.
It’s in a quiet but with excellent facilities nearby. the place looks exactly as advertised, very comfortable and beautifully designed. The owners are super friendly and helpful and the breakfast provided was amazing.
Really friendly staff. Nice balcony overlooking nature. Quiet. Interesting renovated building. Didn't have breakfast but it looked great. Perfect location for me.
