B&B - Eetcafe - Riekelt, hotel in Noorbeek

Located just 10 km from Basilica of Saint Servatius, B&B - Eetcafe - Riekelt offers accommodation in Gronsveld with access to free bikes, a terrace, as well as a concierge service.

A small Dominican monastery converted to accommodation with the small church attached, open to the public during the day. The room was compact as might be expected, and although rooms and corridor were hard floors with the potential to be noisy, guests were respectful and it was quiet in the evening and at night. Comfortable bed with basic shower/shampoo and hand-wash. Room had a coffee machine and a selection of herbal teas. A more than adequate continental breakfast serving a platter of sliced meats and cheese, fruit yoghurt, several breads, butter and jams; tea and coffees of your choice. Very friendly and attentive. A quiet and rural neighbourhood. Great for walking/cycling in the ancient forests. The owner was helpful in providing our motorcycles with parking just outside the church. The carpark at Eetcafe-Riekelt is the starting point for the visit to the flint mine, which I would recommend. Our host was most helpful in getting us booked for the guided tour when the website failed us. There are not many places to eat in the area; most close on Tuesdays; the Eetcafe-Riekelt provided very good local food; evident from the many clients who went there each day. A lovely relaxed place, great for exploring the countryside around Rickholt.

It was fantastic to have a room with a kitchen (fridge, microwave, sink and many amenities) which made it very comfortable for our 1 year old. Very nice touches for the interior, and luxurious bathroom. Thank you for the special baby haircut treatment!

very friendly people working there. exellent breakfast. Great location for walking. You can start your walks right when you leave the hotel, You don't need to go with a car somewhere. enough parking space . There are rooms with a view and balcony on the back that have great vieuws over the valley. The more cheaper rooms are on the front with no special vieuw.

Charming guest houses in beautiful surroundings. Peaceful and perfect location for the day trips we took to Brussel, Luxemburg, Valkenburg, Maastricht etc. The guesthouses are fully equipped, so it is possible to make meals which was nice. They have farm animals and a big playground, so nice for families with children.

The property is lovely:clean, tidy, bright, right on the village Main Street so access to shops and restaurants is great, and with a beautiful garden. the rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable, clean, quiet and the shower is spot on. The tearoom and breakfast room are very cosy and have a lovely family atmosphere. The biggest asset of this place is their owners: Brian and Gertįan (I hope the spelling is right :-)), they were just so welcoming, friendly and made us feel at home and well looked after
