We loved the countryside location and yet it is so close to Utrecht city centre (30mins by bicycle). Very eccentric collections in the house which makes for interesting viewing! Beautiful garden at the back of the property. Two bicycles were ready for us and we cycled everywhere (even Kasteel De Haar). Belle Bistro were also a great restaurant next door. Lovely stay for my wife and I who needed a breather from the cities.

This was my first ever overnight in the Netherlands and I could not have had a better experience. I was able to park the car easily in the street where it was very safe. The accommodation was absolutely delightful and my hostess is an extremely kind lady. When I enquired about places to eat she recommended a restaurant and even phoned to book me a table. A simple but adequate continental breakfast is available. When I enquired about how to get into Utrecht I was given very helpful instructions which worked perfectly. One really could not ask for a better hostess!

This have been a fantastic place to stay, calm, green, and with all comfort you can dream on! Bed was the most comfortable one I've ever slept on.. Being right on the canal and a great part of the city. Loads of great cafe, bars and shopping. You hear some noise from the street above but that is very minor and expected...adds to the stay. I would recommend the unit in the corner of you are deciding.
