The owner was very friendly, which immediately made me feel very welcome at the property. The room was clean, the matrass and the pillows were comfortable, and I appreciated the complimentary slippers, the coffee/tea, cookies, and the tourist information in the room. I did not use the shared kitchen, but I was glad that it had the facilities for making a simple meal (in case I needed it) and an extra possibility for making tea/coffee. In addition, the property was situated in a quiet neighbourhood, with a park and a bus stop nearby, and restaurants/cafes at walking distance.

La Dominotte Arcen was is one of the best places I've ever stayed in. The renovations throughout are beautifully done, for example marble in the window sills and above the bathroom sink. Combine this with modern heating system and well appointed rooms furniture, so you get the perfect experience. Hosts were super friendly and also run a very cute cheese and wine shop downstairs, and at breakfast time, they invite you to go there and select items such as local cheeses for your breakfast. Eggs are fresh that morning from their chickens. The breakfast I have to say is the best I've had in years - all fresh local ingredients.
