Super location, and the studio room we had was huge, being the whole first floor with high windows looking over the canal. Had a very comfortable king bed and a single set up for our daughter. Slightly quirky, interesting furniture. Loads of storage space, a Nespresso machine and kettle, and a jar of mini stroop waffles and some apple tart to welcome us! Oh - there’s a spa bath too. Monique the owner is delightful and couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful.

The property was in a quiet street but well located in a nice part of town. Guests have their own access to come and go as they please and there was even cycle storage and bikes to borrow if you needed one (I suggest you check with the friendly host..don’t rely on me!)

The breakfast was very good, there was enough to pack for lunch at work which the personnel encouraged.
The view is wonderfull, nothing like having breakfast while looking at the sunrise over the canal.
The situation is also quite good, the hotel is a bit isolated which I personally prefer, the neighborhood is very quiet. However it can be a bit tricky to get to the first time. Beware of bike only roads and small bridges.
The nearby city is easily accessible with a bike and they offer a proper bike shed. Beware of the wind however when riding, plan your outfit accordingly. It's not the country of windmills for no reasons.
The room was very spacious, nicely heated, with a pretty view and floor heating for the bathroom.
Internet was reliable and easily accessible without having to accept 5 pages of terms and conditions or make an account (huge plus in my book)
There is a lounge available to everyone with a fireplace, although it was not lit during my stay. The room itself is very comfortable.
A coffee machine is also available in the lounge 24/7, tea is available as well as fruits for a late snack after a long day.
I definitely intend to come back, maybe even just for a holiday away from the city.

The host and hostess were super friendly and helpful. We could have visited with them all evening! Breakfast was excellent. Lots of attention to detail.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Property is situated in a great location on Kaag, surrounded by lush gardens and greenery with birds chirping during the day. Perfect getaway from the city.
We loved everything. From having to go on a tiny ferry (1 minute, €4.50 return for car and passangers, pay once on return from island, cards or cash), to a fabulous room, comfy bed, great hosts, good breakfast.
Very nice and quiet place on an island. Very good breakfast contains also homemade cheese, milk, butter and eggs. The hosts are nice, friendly and handing people. The atmosphere is familiar, like you are coming to friends. A room is not for whole day staying but really for bad and breakfast. The island is quiet but there are 3 restaurants, where you can go for really good dinner or lunch. If you are not looking accommodation close to local people this one will perfectly suit.
Breakfast was hand made and catered to us every morning and quite delicious. The location of the stay was lovely. Taking place on a quiet little island. You will not regret staying here.
B&B is in a quiet semi-rural setting on a small island (served by reliable 24hr “ferry”). Perfectly situated 30 mins from both Schiphol and Keukenhof. The room is hotel quality with exceptional attention to detail. Antoinette is a great host and provides a delicious little “artisan” breakfast in the room. Comfy bed, spacious bathroom with overhead shower. Free parking immediately adjacent to property. Nice area with excellent restaurants on the island itself, for a pleasant lazy walk in the evenings.
