It had been 10 years for my girlfriend to visit the Netherlands. So I wanted some place special for her to adept and us to be together the first days. And oh my... it was special. Very nice located with all green around. Ducks and Swans around, beautiful surrounding with stunning statues and greek atmosphere. I was just great to walk around.
The inside was great, very cosy and a open fire in the middle. We loved it as well as the look and feel. Very nice and appreciated.

Judith is so hospitable and made us all feel very welcome. Her house felt like an oasis of calm after a traumatic journey from the French alps to Holland. This B&B was ideal for our leasure stay. There was exeptional space for relaxing - large terrase was covered and closable with glass doors and with sun deck with wooden chairs built above canal with view to water, greenery and ducks. The terrase was furnished with sofa, hanging swing chair, cabinet for tea and coffee preparation, small fridge.
The room feels spacious, was pretty decorated and really clean. It is good to know, that the bathroom ist part of the room and the dedicated toilet is in the hallway.
The lady home owner was very nice and helpful. She prepared us lovely breakfast.
The B&B has strategic position - it is 15-20 minutes by car to locations like Shiphol airport (no noice), Keukenhof, Royal Flora Holland auction hall in Aalsmeer, 30 min to the center of Amsterdam. You can park your car on the quiet driveway or use Bolt / Uber. It worked well even in high Keukenhof season - arrived pretty soon. We planned them for next morning.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Good location convient to city centre. Free parking an added bonus. Staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. Breakfast was more than adequate with a great selection and something to suit everyone. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for somewhere to stay close to the city.
Polderlodge was a fantastic place to stay if visiting the tulip area and local towns south of Amsterdam by car.

It is a lovely room. Comfortable, clean and spacious with views of the tulip fields. Nicole is a great host. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful and will make you feel at home. The area is very quiet and safe and it's a short, easy walk from Hillegom train station. You can also walk in to town in 10 minutes or so. An ideal base to explore Keukenhof, Haarlem, Amsterdam and beyond.

We were located in a very quiet area surrounded by rural houses and nature. It was great for walks with the dogs. The house itself was very clean and spacious.
Comfortable, clean rooms with a local feel. Good breakfast and welcoming staff. We valued great location, good public transport connections and a charming small town mood.
Breakfast was excellent: a lot of fresh fruit , everything fresh, we could ask what we wanted for breakfast.
Nicole is very friendly, helpful, she gave us a lot of tips for sightseeing, for restaurants. We had nice conversations! Very comfortable bed with nice view from the room. Very close to the trainstation 10 min max and 15 minutes walk to the city center with a lot of options to eat there
The room is in a private house, good to reach by car, near a railway station and Nicole offers a very warm welcome. One feels like home from the first moment on. Nighborhood is quiet and parking is no problem. The room is very pretty furnished and comfortable. Nicole helps with great tips wherever and for whatever one is in need of.
