Small scale b&b/hotel over a small restaurant/bar.
In a small village. No private parking, but free parking surrounding the hotel.
Room was very clean (assume new or recently renovated).
Little facilities other than fridge in (shared) hallway.
European style breakfast, assortment of bread/croissants/knäckebröd, tea, coffee, served to the table in the dining area.
I would recommend it.

This is the second time that I have stayed at the B&B De Hofnar roermond. It's really central close to designer outlet. Service is excellent. Breakfast is variable. The room has ac and a small fridge, and they fix your bed every day. It's just wonderful to stay.

Very quiet environment and somewhat off the beaten track but a one-off gem. Restaurant offers a sensible menu. Depending on the situation, guests may be offered the opportunity to visit the inside of the castle which is a lovingly preserved multi roomed museum and a unique unmissable experience.
