Everything I guess! There was space in the castle itself to relax and play board games in the evening, listen to music and relax. Also the view around is great and if you love animals there are plenty around (fed the chickens and turkeys which was super fun!) Lastly, Willem the dog is occasionally around which is a nice addition 😀

It is a very nice experience staying over this place in this season. The garden view is amazing. The couple hosts are pretty nice and friendly. It is just like staying at home;)
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Great beds, comfortable and big. The pillows were a bit too high for my liking though. Private and clean. Would definitely recommend for even longer stays. Very beautiful area around as well, so great for disconnecting from city life.
The room includes the bed and also WC and the shower in open space - without any door. Surprising :-) Big windows with the wiev to the park is great. Very quiet place, as on holliday! Great breakfast full of fresh fruit and a lovely dining room.
Very nice setting, in the middle of the forest. Bicycle paths and forest trails are the very doorstep. Quiet and relaxing. The game room is a nice addition.
The breakfast!! Brilliant! Great vegan option, Cody machine with oat milk as a standard
Room was small but comfy, and also quiet.
Beautiful location
Friendly staff, reception and kitchen.
It is a nice place to if you want a quiet and calm place far from the hustle bustle of the city.
The manager of the castle Joris was wonderful and very nice to us. On our way back, he was kind enough to drop us to the bust stop by his private car.
Much recommended !!
Note: If you are using public transport, you will need to walk around 1.5km from the bus stop to the public place.
The rooms all face nature, which adds to the quiet and cosy atmosphere of the room. Furniture and decoration is modern rustic, extremely comfortable beds and couches. The lobby has free coffee, tea, water and snacks. Staff was lovely and perfectly bilingual. The restaurant was beautiful and served at least 1 vegan option at every meal. The hotel is next to a forest, perfect for walks. Very good value for money, highly recommend!
Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, free coffee throughout the day, a reading table with (Dutch) newspapers, quiet rooms, people playing games on the evening which feels somehow cosy
