I felt extremely welcome and comfortable staying here. I had a delay with the trains coming from Denmark, and it was a relief that the owner, Frederiek, communicated well and responded in a timely manner to my messages. I was greeted immediately upon arrival and was also given advice for places to go and what to see during my stay. The room was very clean and I had my own private toilet right outside the room.

The owners of the Zandtaart - Margriet and Koos - are going for the extra mile. The breakfast is fabulous. Fresh bread rolls, eggs, cold cuts and daily a surprise. The rooms are clean with their own sink. Plenty of outlets to charge your phone, tablet and laptop all at the same time. Free wifi of course. Walking distance to the shops, restaurants and beach.
The atmosphere is very nice. We certainly can recommend the Zandtaart.

What a fantastic place to stay in the Netherlands! It's run by a mother and daughter duo and they were wonderful hosts! They were so nice and friendly and they made our stay a delight!

The host met us as we came in and showed us everything. Allowed us in early to leave our luggage. Very clean, in a nice quiet residential area, comfortable beds, everything worked, had a kettle, coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge.

I loved everything about my stay here. It’s a little tucked away paradise. Cozy and comfortable. I wanted to stay forever! The breakfast was unbelievably amazing, plentiful, fresh, and delicious. My hosts were extremely helpful and super nice, yet I had complete privacy and freedom. The location was also perfect for me, close to everyone and everywhere I needed to go. Loved it.

Very comfortable, well decorated appartment in a quiet environment in the countryside, close to the dunes and the sea. The closest train station is at 7-8 minutes ride by car. A good network of cycle paths nearby. The owner is welcoming and very helpful.

Stunningly beautiful boutique style accommodation. You couldn't ask for more from this accommodation, its perfect (and my husband and I stayed there for 2 weeks!) The location is perfect, a mere 8-minute walk from the train station and the restaurants and shops of the charming town of Castricum. I would highly recommend to stay here.
