Very friendly welcome by the owners to this property at a delightful location in the village. The room was great and the balcony was a real bonus too. We were able to store and charge our ebikes in the garage, which was lovely. The breakfast was excellent and overall I would definitely come back again.

Close to public transport (bus), walking distance from beach: about 20 mins, several options, recommend taking the entrance Boswachterij Westenschouwen, nice trail through the dunes plus a lot of other beautiful hiking trails.
Some really nice restaurants ("Het Vissershuis" and "Il gallo") about 10mins walk where there's also bike rental available at a small convenience store ("Lokaal Westenschouwen").

I loved the stay! The room was much bigger than I expected, and it had a lovely balcony. The bed was big and comfortable. There is a fridge, a nesspresso coffee machine and a water cooker.
Excellent breakfast, huge variety of options.
The swimming pool was very nice and not cold, which was a big plus. Steam sauna was great!
There was even a place to put my bike under a roof.

I like everything about the property. The location, the authenticity of the neighbourhood, the nature, the quietness and even the sounds of the odd bird brazing the winter weather. The apartment is spacious and well maintained. The kitchen is modern and equipped with everything to make one's stay enjoyable. There is a beautiful and spacious garden (which should be very handy for those visiting when the weather is better). Bruce is a great host and very approachable. I will be back
