The property is set in stunning countryside and offers secure parking for a motorbike (closed barn). The room and bathroom were spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was fabulous and had a jacuzzi bath (very relaxing). Outside had a lovely seating area in which to enjoy the warm evenings.
The breakfast was delivered to our room at a time of our choosing and was FANTASTIC! The best continental breakfast I have had in a very long time.
Bob, our host was charming, so helpful and welcoming. We loved staying here and if we return to the area, we will definitely book in again. Thank you Bob ( and Tessa the dog) for a truly wonderful stay.

It was so relaxing to be there. The room was nice and the bed was, for me, very good. Soft but not too soft. Gmthe room and bathroom were clean. The landlords were helpful and always with a smile.
The breakfast was incredible, the best I've ever eaten, I think. Eating it in the garden with the sheep in the background and the rising sun in the sky, can't ask for much more.

Westert Hoeve is a little gem. Quiet and very nice. The hostess is really kind and brings you a giant an delicious breakfast. It's a little hard to find the first time because it sits at the end of an unpaved road but that also guarantees the quiet. The region is very nice with a lot of bicycle paths.

What a location! You are staying in a beautiful preserved fortress from the 1600s. The modernised rooms are in a couple of houses within the main fortress. An excellent breakfast with boiled eggs and the usual continental selection is served in one of the buildings. It was lovely to walk around and explore the ramparts when all the other tourists had gone.
