We stayed a night here on a cycle tour. The canal side location in a quiet subservient is perfect. The property is a grand old house with beautiful gardens. Rooms large and comfortable and beautiful decor. We were able to get a good dinner at the restaurant next door. And an excellent breakfast was served next morning. The hotel cat was an added bonus.

This was my first ever overnight in the Netherlands and I could not have had a better experience. I was able to park the car easily in the street where it was very safe. The accommodation was absolutely delightful and my hostess is an extremely kind lady. When I enquired about places to eat she recommended a restaurant and even phoned to book me a table. A simple but adequate continental breakfast is available. When I enquired about how to get into Utrecht I was given very helpful instructions which worked perfectly. One really could not ask for a better hostess!

We very much enioyed our stay here. The cottage has a comfy vibe and is equipped with pretty much everything you could possibly need. The outside garden is to die for and there are plenty of spots where you can drink your morning coffee and enjoy the peace and quiet.
The hosts are incredibly welcoming and kind. They gave us some really useful recommendations that enhanced our experience as first-time tourits in the Netherlands.

Our host Bob enhance our visit to the region with his kind and excellent knowledge. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms large and charming. Everything was just perfect!
The room has everything you need for an easy and comfortable stay. Quiet surroundings, conveniently close to the train station but you don’t hear it. Easy to access at night. The bathroom is shared but you also don’t feel it, as it is a single shower and you can lock the door behind you. It felt like staying in someone’s house, very welcoming and cosy!

spacious, super well equipped roof top appartment. very quiet. in walking distance of train station and bus stop to Utrecht. beautiful forest nearby where one can go for long walks. gorgeous garden and pool. Bob and Jackie were super hosts, helpful, engaging, well travelled and cosmopolitan. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and interesting, making dinner arrangements, providing pick ups from the station as well as tips for outings and walks.
