Nice and quiet area, so even for New Years it was quiet enough to get some sleep. Carlos is very helpful and the breakfast delicious.

All I can say is that Casa Bubu was incredible. The Guest House is beautifully presented, it's awe-inspiring. A home that welcomes guests in a caring, gentle way. Everything was just perfect. Yves was incredibly helpful, the staff were caring, kind and always so ready to help a sometimes confused traveller, as in myself. If you are travelling to Granada this is a must place to stay. Granados guesthouse was something special.
Having been on the road for a little while, I knew that I would need a place to stay that was away from the hostels and allowed me to have some time for myself.
As I turned the corner into the calle, I felt at home immediately. The surrounding neighborhood was very friendly and welcoming to me.
Of course this extends to the hosts of the guesthouse. All of the people who work there were very helpful and very friendly. Even when there was a tiny bit of confusion regarding the cost of the stay (completely my own misunderstanding) the hosts explained everything in full.
The suite was very clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable and there was more than enough room for maybe 3 or 4 people to be in this suite comfortably.
The bedroom was well air-conditioned and, being the sole occupant, I was able to adjust it to my liking. There was no air conditioning unit in the rest of the suite, but it didn't matter because the fans were effective at spreading cooler air to the rest of the apartment from the bedroom. The air-conditioning was definitely needed and was very reliable.
The WiFi was strong and the suite contained two televisions that worked very well. There's a veranda or terrace with two chairs as you come into the front door of the apartment . You have a perfect view of the Mombacho Volcano. It was perfect to spend time on it after a long hot day exploring Granada with an ice cold seltzer or beer. I enjoyed a couple of cigars too. I checked with Belford and he said that this was fine.
Breakfast was made and brought up to the room for me in the morning by la señorita, she was very kind in helping me with directions to the bus station and help with my laundry. The food was ample enough for a keen hiker and explorer like myself.
I am really pleased with my stay and will be recommending this place to everyone I meet.

Very nice social areas, great activities arranged in the hostel as well as tours, AC in the dorm and great rolling lockers to store your backpack in. The breakfasts were varied too. Most of the staff were great.

Azul is a great hostel! We stayed in the private room, which was great because of the AC (and the privacy). The staff was really friendly and helped us with arranging shuttles and tours. Every morning, a delicious breakfast is included, which varies daily. We also loved the pool and the daily free ice tea with rum!
We stayed in the deluxe private room and honestly it was like a grand hotel. Aircon was great and the room stayed cool even when we turned it off. Really well located, very comfortable and quiet room, and good value with the breakfast as well!
Nice place to stay in Granada - nice room and private bathroom. The pool was very good for a cool off in the heat of Granada! Kitchen was clean and well equipped. Check in and out was smooth. The place was in a great location for exploring the city and felt pretty secure.
Nice hostel in a more quiet part of Granada while still being close to the city center. The owners were incredibly helpful and recently started this place. They drove us all the way to Popoyo to help us out and were very friendly! Above and beyond. Would recommend staying there! Breakfast was also nice!

This was the perfect way to end our trip through Central America. It’s a really charming boutique hotel with a lovely courtyard that gives the feeling of staying in your private villa / little oasis in the middle of Granada, for a very reasonable price. The superior King room was superb, with a lovely pool right in front of the room. The AC worked well and it was quiet, so we slept well. And all the staff were wonderful.
