We stayed here for one night. The farm was super clean and spacious. The managers & staff were very friendly and present (in a very positiv way). There are many animals around which really calmed us down. The hike was nothing special but nice for a little move. The dinner and breakfast was extremely good.

We were driving from Katima Mulilo to Swakopmund for a family holiday. Grootfontein was the ideal option to have a stopover and have some rest before proceeding to Swakopmund the next morning.
We found The Farm Shop on Booking.com, and we're extremely happy the way we were received by the host, Mr. Ulf. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the surroundings. He recommended that we visit the Hoba meteorite, which was about 15 km from the Farm Shop.
It won't be an exgerration to say that Mr. Ulf is an excellent cook and serves very yummy breakfasts and dinners!
Everything was so perfect that I wish to drive e back to Swakopmund once again so I can stay at the Farm Sop again.

Fiume Lodge is on a farm with wildlife. The property was safe, clean, maintained, quiet and peaceful. Both Breakfast and supper was very good quality. We were also fortunate to see the animals come to drink at the waterhole a few meters from the lodge.
Sweet handmade decoration, quiet and save area. Cute, curious little puppy guarding the place making a good job. Comfy bed but a bit small for 2 people.
Excellent breakfast and dinner, cool , absolutely quiet location and fabulous hosts. Felt like a home away from home. Best biltong during the whole trip!!! Would stay there again and longer next time in Namibia.
