After an initial confusion about the room I had booked was cleared up, I really enjoyed my stay here. The lady managing the place was always super helpful and sweet. The room and bathroom were spotless and the entire property is in great shape. Ideal location in between ADO station and town centre as well as lagoon public bathing spots.

The staff was really nice and the hotel great! We spent Christmas here and it was nice and calm. The pier is great for swimming and exploring the lagune by kayak! The breakfast is good! We would go again!

The accommodation is located at the back of a restaurant and It's very close to the Zocalo so perfect for a cheaper stay in Bacalar, but it's at least 30 mins walk from the lagoon clubs. We actually found this worked well for us as we had more choice for food and bars in the evening time.
The space felt secure and the outdoor area was really pretty with hammocks and nice to hang out in. The kitchen is well equipped. The towels and bed linen were good but we needed to ask for an extra blanket as the ones provided were too small. There is no reception so all communication is done via Booking or WhatsApp, which wasn't really an issue as they are very responsive.

The owner was very kind and spoke good English. He explained everything and gave me some useful tips about public accesses to the lagoon and recommended a good place to rent a bicycle. There was hot water in the shower with good water pressure. The room was quite clean although there was a thin spider living with me. There was a fridge and a fan in my room. Drinkable water was available next to the reception.

Great location, just off from the lake. Very quiet rooms with a warm shower and aircon. The pool was a great size, and the beach club was about a 15 minute walk but really worth it, very picturesque and private, with deck chairs, toilets and kayaks to use for free. Lots of nearby restaurants. Would recommend!
the personalized attention of the owner and the other staff was exquisite. a real Hotel Boutique in the city center of Bacalar was already a luxury. even we went there in rainy days, we enjoyed our stay thanks to the useful advices of Juan everyday. it was our first experience in a hotel boutique and this really goes beyond our expectations!

Had a quiet private room - not the largest, but enough space for two of us. Air con and comfortable bed. Hotel is lovely, with great garden and helpful staff - buy some cheap beer from the bar and enjoy the calm. Amazing beach club short ride away to while away the days - planned to stay for two days but ended up with four! Ok breakfast.

To get to the city center it requires to get a taxi, but its not that bad as its cheap and not longer than 10 min to get there. The hotel has its private lagoon entrance so its worth its far location from the center. The hotel offers boats tours reservations.
Great hostel - quiet, but that's what we like. Beautiful garden and friendly staff. Had private room which was really comfortable and quiet. Simple breakfast of toast, coffee and fruit but good enough. Access to amazing beach club which was a great way to while away the peaceful days in Bacalar.
Great location 10mins by car from the centre, hence it's very quiet and calm. Only noises you hear are the ones made by animals. Well maintained area. The villa was clean and spacious with the windows with only mosquito nets, so it made us feel close to the nature, and yet still very private. Big and comfy bed. Very tasty dinner and breakfast. Kayaks are free to rent and staff is very welcoming and helpful.
The location is exceptional in terms of vue and quietness. The staff is lovely and helpful. The boat tour is great and cheap. The rooms by the water with private terrace and jacuzzi is just breathtaking. This is a very beautiful and relaxing place.

great location, quaint and quiet with a lovely (small) pool and area. rooms were large, beds comfortable and really nice showers. breakfast was good, limited choices but really nice. choice of coffee/tea, then fruit (banana, papaya and melon) or juice, then a choice of scrambled eggs with your one choice of veg (onion, tomatoe etc) or pancakes. both were really good.
