Where to even begin… our stay at Whale Shark Beach is one we will not forget. The staff were so accommodating and friendly for our entire stay. They always welcomed us back from our excursions or just afternoons out on the beach and always wanted to know what we had done that day.
The food was immaculate and we ended up eating at the hotel every night so we could keep trying things off the menu. The rooftop dining area is especially lovely, it’s nice to be able to see the stars during the evening.
The excursions team were absolutely incredible. We saw dolphins, turtles, various reefs and had an unforgettable experience swimming with manta rays. The team were also incredibly generous and allowed us to join two additional manta ray and whale shark trips for no additional cost after we had not seen them initially. The boat was well equipped and the team were incredibly focussed on guest safety in the water as well as enjoyment. Another key thing that we applaud the excursions team on is ensuring the safety and well being of the wild animals we saw whilst out on the sea. The boat engine was immediately turned off as soon as we saw dolphins and they kept a good distance away instead of chasing and harassing the animals. Additionally, prior to one of our whale shark tours we were briefed on how to swim with the animal safely and were reminded that if anyone tried to touch or swim to close to the animal they would be removed from the water. As someone who works in marine animal conservation, I applaud the team at Whale Shark Beach for putting the animals first and ensuring that both them and the guests could have a safe and enjoyable experience.
The room was lovely. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’d ever slept in and very spacious. The television also had smart options available to watch Netflix or Amazon Prime which was a big bonus.

Spent a week and had a great time on Dhigurah and Beach Lily in particular. I felt kind of special during the stay. Ahmed and Mohmed were great hosts, considerate and attentive, and also hooked me up with diving and snorkeling activities. Enjoyed the breakfasts too, Maldivian one is a must!

Just wow! We had such a great stay. Very lovely place with a very welcoming and lovely team. Great family atmosphere. Different snorkeling/diving tours every day. Great food, service and nice rooms. The stay was just perfect! The place is new, everything is so fresh and they take so much care of all details. All of the staff was exquisite! They were so helpful with anything we needed! I could not recommend this place any more! It is the quality of a 5 star resort in the peaceful and quiet environment of a local island.

The hotel is right at the beach, great location, very nice rooms, super comfy beds and the beach at the southern end of the island is the most beautiful beach we've ever been to.

Hands down one of the best places we stayed at Dhigurah. The room, facilities and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful in making our stay as good as it can get. The room was super clean and the breakfast was top notch. The fact that they have private dining with each room is amazing!

We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast is minimal as to be expected at Dighura but you can always go to Hermits and indulge yourself. The guest house has only 3 rooms, very quiet , a bit shabby but its cheap for maldivian prices so if the staff fixes the tap and walls i would really come back there again. Special thanks to Noman, always smiling, happy to help, we could use the kitchen to make buckwheat for our son, Noman did laundry service for a very moderate price.

Great location- quiet, away from other hotels, close to the sea, nice terrace, great bed, great mattress with my hurt back of mine the mattress was superb. Anytime free coffee, chai tea, water, hot chocolate available, great Thai restaurant in the hotel, drinks upon arrival, wet towels to wipe your face upon arrival, transfer from the pier to hotel included, friendly staff, free rides to the long beach, amazing friendliness of the staff. We felt ourselves at home!
