We came to Mauritius for our honeymoon and did a tour of the island, and this was hands down our favourite stay. The property is so beautiful, we didn’t want to leave. It felt like a safe haven. The view is stunning, the rooms are so comfortable and clean, the food is delicious (the piña colada probably one of the best I’ve ever had) and the staff/owners are sweethearts. If we come back to Mauritius, it’s to stay here!

The people are very friendly and nice. We felt at home. It is located in the middle of nature, the facilities are excellent, and the cleanliness is impeccable! We saw a lot of birds and even a peekcock.The food at the restaurant was delicious! Accessing the complex facilities was a big plus. We will definitely come back. Thank you for your hospitality!

The location was unexpectedly very close to 7 cascades water fall and prakash is also a hiking guide. He gave special price for being guest. The apartment had some breathtaking views.

By far the nicest place we have ever stayed. Exceeds 5 star hotels. The loveliest staff & owner, most stunning location, beautiful attention to detail- everything is perfect. Every piece of furniture, furnishing, door and all the architecture is gorgeous. Very good taste!
The food is fresh and delicious with menu changing daily based on the freshest local ingredients, whilst we were there there was barely anyone else eating so although food price is quite high it was definitely worth it for essentially a private chef experience!
Amazing villas in a beautiful and quiet setting. Perfect if you want to be in the middle of nature but still like the comfort of modern living :-). Our hosts, the cleaning and maintenance staff were very helpful throughout our stay - we arrived quite late for the check-in and someone stayed late to give us a tour of the villas (which was much appreciated). That said, I would definitely recommend arriving earlier in the afternoon if possible.
Second stay at Chalets Chamarel, unbelievable location with the best views where the mountains le morne meets the sea- you also have view of some of the islands too ile aux benetiers (spelling?)- picture perfect location. Quiet stay, breakfast and dinner included. Room is spacious with comfortable bed and large bathroom. Breakfast and dinner superb. Wifi not the best in the location but not a big issue for us as we enjoyed some disconnected time.
Very private property, super easy to disconnect from everything. The garden is great, lots of trees and plants, all creating a beautiful scenery.
The chalet is very nice, super clean, the bed and the pillows are the most comfortable we have ever seen. We slept super well.
The staff is very helpful and happy to help. The breakfast is diverse and delicious.
Exceptional location in lush, green part of the island. The staff were wonderful and we particularly loved the private use of the sauna, outdoor yoga & sunset view bar. Outdoor bath & shower in our room was a real treat too. I can see why people return here!
We had a suite with private pool with sea view a little way from the main lodge so were transported by golf cart. Staff were excellent and meals had acceptable options. Extra cost al la carte also available. A perfect place for a complete chill out.
