I love the rooftop of the hotel. There is a nice view from it. The pool is tiny, but it is nice to have it when the days are really hot.
The reception and breakfast areas were gorgeous. I love the decor.
Also, breakfast was very good: proper coffee (for once), good quality food.

Really lovely staff, wonderful location, enormous rooms, very clean, lovely roof terrace with the best views. Loads of free bottled water - a must in August - and great freebies in the room on arrival. Everything feels good quality and nothing is too much trouble.

Everything was great - from the airport pick-up to the breakfast on the terrace in the morning. The room was clean and modern and the house is located where you want to be in Marsaxlokk - next to the harbour promenade and close to the best restaurants in town.

Birgu is a nice place to stay, was easy to find parking nearby to the accommodation. Building is super nice, room has a kind of authentic feeling with some modern impact. They kindly provided to us extra beach towels.

What a nice surprise. I travel a lot for work and rarely review the run of the mill hotels.
The front door hides a beautiful old building with quirky modern art work. Refreshingly different. Great to have a fridge with cold drinks after arriving late.

Absolutely loved this delightful property. Excellent communication before we arrived, charming hosts, and a quiet location 10-minutes walk from the speedy ferry across to the heart of the city. Handsome, spacious and comfy room, great breakfast, roof terraces with spectacular views over the Grand Harbour, and a choice of restaurants down on the nearby waterfront. Would you could find a spot like this in every city!
A beautifully appointed property in a quiet and original part of Senglea. All the little extra touches you would expect in a boutique hotel. Exceptional service from the friendly hosts and staff who could not have done anymore to make this stay highly memorable. Fabulous breakfast with option to enjoy this on the rooftop terrace which offers magnificent harbour views. Very highly recommended for those who enjoy the finer things with the service to match.
The location, on the quainter and quieter side of the city, suited us well - we were shocked at how touristy the far side of town was, and how overwhelmed the peninsula of Valletta got when the cruise ships pulled in. The owners and their staff were simply superb in all ways: helpful, friendly, and simply wonderful. Every detail was attended to that we could see, from spotless facilities to tips on getting around. We both would highly recommend staying here.
The staff was wonderful! The hotel/suite was great and at a great location. Everything in the city was a walking distance away, and the capital only a cheap boat ride away.
This amazing old building was beautifully and tastefully modernised and transformed into a charming hotel. The rooms were full of character, spotlessly clean with great attention to detail.
Its location was very quiet (not a sound during the night) and only a brief stroll to the Valetta ferry.

A fantastic boutique hotel in a beautifully renovated building. Everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast and the most wonderful staff. It's in a great location and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby and the water taxi to Valletta is only a few minutes walk away. Highly recommended.
The host met us on arrival and helped us up the stairs with our luggage and babies. Thoughtful things like milk fruit wine bread and cereal were there for our arrival. The place was spotlessly clean and the apartment was gorgeous. Great location. Great host.

The apt was clean, with air conditioning, microwave…and full furnished (plates, cutlery, cups…) in a very quiet location. We slept very well!
We also had dinner in the roof terrace with a wonderful view.
