Nice spacious room, we had a little balcony. Everything you need for an overnight stay. Food was good. And the shuttle to the airport was great. Please remember payment is by card, Euro or Ariari, they do not take $. They let us stay and stopped at a good exchange for us to change money and pay on the way to the airport.

The place is OK. Staff is friendly, bed is comfortable. Close to the airport but the area is pretty bad. However, you will feel safe inside the place. Bathroom is pretty basic, toilet without seat outside of the room. For a night on the way is OK. For longer stays, I wouldn't recommend it.

The hotel seems to be relatively new (not sure when it was opened) so all facilities seem to fresh and well-kept. However, what I appreciated the most was the staff - responding promptly to my needs. That is often hard to find so definitely something to pursue long-term to keep guests returning.

We stayed several times at Meva Guesthouse because its convenient access to the airport. It is a relaxing oasis from busy Tana. We loved our stays because of the super friendly staff and the relaxing atmosphere. The courtyard with its residence tortoise, the big rooms and the wide balconies are great for hanging out. The staff are exceptional - so friendly, helpful and kind. We highly recommend the big breakfast. You can order lunch and dinner as well. You might even be lucky to catch the staff jamming and singing one night. Meva is a bit hard to find but several taxi drivers knew it and if not, Google Maps can help. Meva staff can help organize a direct but expensive shuttle to the airport. The neighborhood spans the extreme from farm fields on one hand to high end grocery stores on the other. Our host, Madam Murielle, was very welcoming and warm. The food was excellent, pocket friendly prices. The residence is very clean and calm and has an excellent ambience. We felt home away from home, and anytime I am in madagascar's residence, tianay will be my home. She always ensured we were comfortable every day, she got us a taxi every time we wanted to go out.I definitely recommend residence tianay.

Great host and location close to local food stalls and market. ATM nearby, very close to the airport (10 mins by car). Room very big, great shower and very comfy bed. Very good local food served in the house for breakfast and dinner. I had a perfect stay!
Very friendly staff, reliable airport pick-up, clean and spacious bathroom, quiet night (unless guests are loud in the corridor), comfortable bed. The aircon was good to have. Very convenient place to stay when you arrive late or have an early flight. I can definitely recommend this little hotel with their restaurant. Get some change ready in ariary to give the luggage carrier. There are stairs and no elevator.
