The staff were absolutely phenomenal and super accommodating. I was a solo female traveller and felt extremely safe. The location is perfect, just opposite a gorgeous beach and the whole layout is that of a tropical paradise
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The hotel has a new owner (Karen) and she and her assistant manager have the place under control!
The food is great, the location quiet and the best section of the entire island.
If there is an issue, it is taken care of immediately - top service!
You arrive at Residence Monique on a tiny boat (there are no roads) and so from the very start it’s a magical experience. The location is fantastic - right on the beach which is beautiful and quiet. Most days we had the beach to ourselves.
The people who work there are lovely and very helpful.
Lovely position overlooking the beach and friendly staff. Unfortunately I was the only one staying the first night and only a few other guests arrived during my stay so a bit quiet (maybe that’s a positive for some)

The location is great, quiet with a beautiful beach. Our bungalow (with electricity and hot water) was great!
