We loved our stay at Palais Omensour, all the staff is so friendly and food was delicious. The property is very beautiful, clean and very comfortable to stay. Down a short cul de sac in the Medina , the entrance door led into a very beautiful , green courtyard garden area with a fountain … such a pleasant atmosphere . Our rooms were adjacent to each other on the garden floor .
Upstairs where our breakfasts and dinners were served was also was filled with climbing trees , bugenvia, palms and cactus . Birds chirped at dusk and two doves were building their nest above the fountain.
Our warm and friendly hostess Zenia ( spelling ?) greeted us and took such good care of us during our entire stay .
The breakfast was varied and complete with toast , crepes , cheese , yogurt ,jams and honey and a large pot of brewed , hot coffee .
We had two delicious dinners served in the candle lit courtyard , while classical piano music played softly nearby. Both my sister and brother-in-law are excellent cooks themselves , but they raved about the French -Moroccan cuisine that was prepared by our smiling and talented cook.
The beautifully understated interiors and the fantastic old adobe architecture highlighted the ambiance of this magical Riad .

Excellent value for money. The couple who manages this Riad are very kind and breakfast is good.
Obviously, this is not the Hilton, but you are getting a nice, quiet room, comfortable mattress, modern bathroom, pool, great location. The house is well maintained and clean.
Very pleasant stay. The hotel has a big beautiful garden, swimming pool and private parking- the entire complex surrounded by the wall. We were welcome with fresh fruits. The room was already warm when we arrived. The bed and bathroom was really big. We also had a very good massage with argan oil- maybe one thing that can be improved: some relaxing music in the background would be a nice idea. The breakfast was tasty with a very good coffee from the coffee express.
The location is good, just off the main street in a quiet place. There is a cheap paid and safe parking where you can leave your car (5 minute walk, next to the tanneries). The place looks amazing, it felt a bit like I'm in a palace that I'm visiting and not in a place I actually stay in, especially for this price.
I was delighted at the hotel. The accommodation was very comfortable. The place was quiet and close to the city center. The staff was helpful and friendly, I would be glad to spend the night for next time there.
Charming hotel in the heart of the Kasbah and actually built into the historic city walls. Beautiful gardens and a great pool to relax at after a long day sight seeing. Very easy to walk to the Souks from here and a couple of great restaurants, which are exceptionally cheap, within 5 minutes walking distance.

Riad Tafilag was closed due to maintenance work when we arrived so were booked to Dar Tourkia. Dar Tourkia is a bit further away from the city center, in the quiet Kasbah neighborhood. The hotel was very beautiful. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was very hospitable.
Excellent location in the heart of Taroudant yet very quiet. The riad is very beautiful and has a lovely roof terrace, the bed was huge and comfortable. The owner is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Parking Derb Lhchich is very close by and costs 20dh for a night. Next to the riad is a tiny restuarant with orange tablecloths and a nice old couple make tasty tagines for the cheapest price we had in all Morocco!
