Communication with the host was excellent. The upper terrace has a stunning view of the ocean where you can watch the sunset. There is a private outdoor area which is perfect for relaxing/eating/sunbathing. Dar el Maq has the perfect blend of rustic luxury.

The owners absolutely made it amazing though. As a female solo traveler, it was just such an oasis of calm after a hectic time and everything felt easy.

the place is clean, right on the beach, the breakfast is super decent and the host amazing and very helpful, it's a village so you have to walk to the main road to get public transport which is extremely cheap (less than a euro to get to Assilah or Tangier) Bottom line, if you're on a budget and want a quiet place right on the beach, you can't go wrong with this one!

Very good check in and check out experience. Nice people. The property has excellent views from all rooms except the bathroom. The property was very quiet. It is in a great location, close to waterfront cafes and very close to the medina. There is a little balcony beside the kitchen and huge one way glass windows offering big views in the lounge. It was outstanding value for money and the service made everything easy. Comfortable furniture. The washing machine and stove worked well. Thank you.
