Very good place. Located very close to Tissa city. The rooms were very clean and nice. The staff is very friendly. We were given two free bikes to go to town. They arranged for us to go on a yala safari. It was very great. We were very excited to see the leopard. We saw two leopards. We are the driver Saji, he knows very well where the animals are. After the safari, the hotel also provided us with a taxi for a very low price. Everything is very good here.

We had a perfect stay at my village. The rooms and the pool are beautiful. The host Sujith and all staff are very friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast are delicious and there is a large selection. We were able to organize the safari easily and without complications with the host Sujith in the hotel. Our tour guide Maari was incredibly good and we were able to benefit from his years of experience. Thanks to his good ears and eyes we saw two leopards, many elephants, water buffalos, crocodiles and much more. We would come back in a heartbeat!

The property is a 10 minute walk from town. The staff are friendly. They drove us to the bus stop after our stay and made sure we got on the right bus. We got back from a Yala safari after checkout time so I was expecting to just grab our bags and go but they held off cleaning the bathroom in our room so that we could shower and use it after the safari if we needed. The room was big with AC and a mosquito net.

We had a great time at this place. Priya was so kind to pick us uñ from the bus station and take us there again when we were leaving. We stayed at his brothers place, which is very clean and nice. His brother offeres us a fresh coconut and watermelon & woodfruitjuice.
Priya also took as on a short trip around the lakes close the the acommodation and showed us some local animals. We also booked the Yala safari through them, all was good organized.

We spent two nights here during our travels through Sri Lanka. This place stood out because of the thoughtful hospitality, the influenced by the three years the host Priyankara worked in Korea: a welcome fresh coconut and cool towel to wash our hands and face, free pickup from bus stop and drop off at bus stand (he waited until passing bus arrived and made sure we could get seats before he left), free evening trip to the nearby lake to see birds and fruit bats at sunset, and power strip next to bed where we could charge all our devices. The food prepared by his wife was excellent, from the early morning coffee/tea and snacks before we left for our safari, to the dinner of deviled fish, hot garlic fish and fried kankun (ample portions, high quality ingredients), and the most abundant breakfast (with added new year pastries) we have had on our travels so far. Though we didn’t take his safari tour because his best driver wasn’t available, we spent time each day consulting his detailed bird guidebook to confirm what we saw.

Great location on a big block of land next to a lake that had water buffalo in the afternoon. Nice pool to cool off in, the room was tidy with a/c and fan that worked well. The staff could not do enough for you and the highlight was the prepared meals, delicious food and large serves at a very cheap price. We also did a Yala safari from there which was organised by the manager Dilipa where we saw heaps of wildlife including a leopard and bear. We loved our stay and highly recommended it.

A very beautiful and quiet environment. The room and bathroom were very clean. The dinner was very delicious. We went on a private safari from them. It was very precious. We were very happy with it. We saw many animals. We were lucky to see leopards. The driver is very experienced. A new jeep and very comfortable. The next day they found us a taxi for a very cheap price to go to the falls. Everything was fine.

Each room even has its own small private terrace, which was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy some quiet moments outdoors. We definitely made the most of it during our stay!
Great location close to town. Quiet and secluded in a lush tropical environment. Excellent breakfast. Staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to cater to our needs. Having an outdoor pool with jacuzzi was a bonus. We would highly recommend as it was a short drive to Yala National Park for a jeep Safari and Kataragama temple, walking distance to one of the oldest Buddhist temples Tissamaharama Raja Maha Vihara and Tissamaharama Lake.
