Mr Don the owner is a very good person. He was very interested to make our stay great. He was always online since I did the booking and till the end. Helped a lot with all our request. The setting is beautiful, the pool and tree houses are cool and well blending with nature. The pizza and breakfast were delicious. Someone designed this and knew what they were doing. Maybe a fun place for a family with different needs so I understand nice reviews.

It is not possible to describe how special this place is and we highly recommend everyone to come here and experience it yourself.
Heaven in Satinwoods is our favorite place in Sri Lanka and also the food here is just the best that you can get. So if you come to this place, you should definitely try the rice and curry.
From the first second we arrived at this place, we felt like staying in paradise. We were welcomed with a fresh juice, some wet towels to refresh our faces and a flower necklace. The rooms are very spacious, there is an A/C in every apartment and it is very clean. Also you have drinking water in the room, so you don’t need to buy water. You can just bring empty water bottles and reuse them, which is really great.
Also this place has a wonderful garden with many beautiful trees, plants and flowers and you can watch many different animals like giant squirrels and really beautiful birds!
For us this place feels like home and Dalu and Chami feel like family!

Wow, what an amazing boutique hotel by the beach. We stayed in the romantic villa, it was just fabulous, spacious, very clean and the private pool was just a dream!

A lovely, helpful family host this new homestay. Great location only 2 mins walk to the wonderful Mawella beach. Our room was large and well equipped with air-conditioning, fan and mosquito net. There is a small private patio area outside the room and a larger shared terrace with a comfy sofa. Wonderful breakfasts made freshly each morning. Very quiet and peaceful at night. Highly recommended.

This accommodation was a surprise as it is way more beautiful that it looks on the photos. There is the feeling of a luxury boutique hotel, they have few rooms, and it feels private. The room we had was on the last floor, with ocean view and it was breathtaking. The room is very big with comfortable bed, very specious balcony. The personnel also very nice. The beach is very beautiful and you can take big walks and see few people. Definitely it was one of the most beautiful accommodation we ever had.

Private, empty (early June), sandy, pristine clean beach, an absolutely beautiful one. Excellent breakfasts with an assortment of fresh fruit. We loved the food we had for lunch and dinner as well (Sri Lankan menu). Warm, clean pool. An amazing room: spacious, nicely furnished and decorated, with all you may need. We do appreciate the attention to details: water in glass bottles, new incense sticks in the bathroom everyday, fresh flowers in the room. Friendly, helpful staff in the hotel, restaurant, spa. An excellent choice of spa treatments.
This is like a boutique hotel and you are treated like royalty by Dumi and staff. They really want you to have the best stay. The food was very tasty, always three courses and presented so nicely.
