The rooms are situated in a cozy & green backyard and secured by a gate and 2 dogs. To the beach is just 10 mins by foot. The whole area is very local and people are friendly towards foreigners, so were the hosts. The place is ran by a mother and her son, both extremely helpful and easygoing. They speak a decent English and have a natural welcoming personality. I felt super comfortable during my stay and appreciated their support since I caught a cold beforehand and had to recover. I can totally recommend this place. Thanks a lot for your hospitality guys 🙏

had an amazing stay at Seasons 4. Buddhika our host is very kind and helpful with all of our needs. He helped my friend arrive as a last minute guest and was always accommodating and contactable. The room was very clean and felt homely. We loved sitting on the balcony drinking tea and watching the monkeys :) would definitely recommend staying here

I have travelled for over 30 years and this is undoubtedly one of the best value-for-money homestays I have been to. The family are so kind and generous. Their comfortable home is on the beach, with views out to a beautiful bay. You can watch fruit bats and parrots roost at night and the sunrise from your bed! Turtles sometimes lay their eggs at night here but I was too lazy to stay up. Breakfast is amazing: lots of fruits and a variation of pancakes, patties, eggs, coffee etc. Bottled water is also freely available. Good fans and mosquito nets. Sam is a great host. His daughters were home at Xmas and they were wonderful too. You can swim well in the sandy bay or visit the beach below the lighthouse, 10 minutes away, where there is a cool bar with a swing and hammock over the water. I prefer the non-touristy side of things here and chatting with locals. I visited Dickwella today to suss out the next place to stay but it was far too touristy for me, so I returned to Dondra to stay even longer.

The hosts were very friendly and went out of the way to make us comfortable. They were very helpful in assisting us in planing our local activities including airport pickup, drop, visit to Marissa and Galle. Apart from the option of dining at my home resort, there are many good restaurants nearby. The beach is close by and you can snorkel with turtles. There is a river safari within 15-20 min by tuk tuk where we saw crocodiles , monkeys and many birds…
We felt at home and the hospitality was commendable. Highly recommended and we would love to visit again, hopefully soon.

It was an awesome experience to stay in this villa. You feel it's your own villa. Quiet neighbourhood, away from traffic and only a few minutes walk to polhena Beach and about 10 minutes walk to madha Beach. If you enjoy cooking. Then don't miss the kitchen in the villa. It got all the appliances you need, from A to Z. The bus stands are about 900 meters from the villa. The rooms have big terraces, so you can sit in the terrace and enjoy them. Ac is working very well. And sincere thanx to Mr. Rohan (the owner) for his kindness and hospitality. Will surely keep this villa in my list for my next trip to lanka.

Amazing location right on a quiet, beautiful beach. Felt like a rustic, peaceful getaway. There is a nice hotel next door where you can eat or use the facilities if you want to (for free if you spend 10k rupees on food). The house still feels private and secluded, not overlooked.

First of all, this is a totally private villa with no neighbors. Located in quiet area in 5 min walk to a less crowded surf spot.
Place is just renovated so everything is new nice and clean.
The host is welcoming and friendly and provided us with all the necessities, helping out with the transfer.
We had a good time just relaxing and having our time with each other in a quiet place.

La Polenba is right next to the beach. We had access to a long stretch of the Madiha beach, which almost felt like a private beach. The rooms were very clean and quiet. A fan is provided, and you can see the coconut teas and the waves from the entrance to the room. Waking up to that view was quite lovely.
The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We stayed on the NYE 2022, and on Jan 1st, they invited us over for some tea and cakes to celebrate the 2023 NY morning.
We would definitely visit again.
