It is unique because you are in the middle of the jungle, without walls. The place is very relaxing, yet you feel the jungle, in the good way. The stuff is most delicate and gentle.

The owner was very helpful and attentive. He made sure my stay was comfortable. 5 mts walk to the city center. Steep climb to the property, I took a tuck tuck only US 0.50 cents from the train station.

This is a great place to stay in Maskeliya. It's located on the edge of town, so it's really quiet. At the same time, it's close to the center (5 Min. walking distance). The hosts are very friendly and will gladly help you arrange tours to Adam's Peak and other attractions in the vicinity. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfy. The WiFi works. It's not fast enough to do video calls but since you're here for vacation and not for work, that's not a problem. I recommend staying here and will glady come back!

This place is so cute and cozy! The room has a covered outdoor area with lots of plants. The room itself is very cozy and decorated very nicely to make everything feel like home. The shower was neat like you're in a cave, but you have the option of hot water which was so nice. It is family owned and they were very welcoming and helpful during our stay. I 100% recommend this place and will stay again next time I'm in town.

Owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was cozy and bigger than in pictures.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Mona (the host) is very lovely and made us the best meals. We thought it was a amazing that we only had to walk 1 minute to the private natural after a hot day. You will be in the middle of nature at this place and we loved it! We saw a lot of different small animals just by sitting outside our room and watching. It’s a quiet and calming place to get some rest after a day wildrafting ;).
Be aware that it is a little bit of a difficult road to get to the accommodation.
For us, the best thing about this hotel is the location. It’s situated on a private tea plantation, it’s remote and quiet.. and the views are amazing.
Food was good but bit on the expensive side. Eating out is a hassle due to the remote location.
Staying at the “villa” we had a private pool… together with tjat view is stunning.

Really lovely setting and very helpful/friendly owner. They organised rafting for us which was brilliant and reasonably priced. They also lent us rubber rings as there is a little natural pool in the river right by them - gorgeous. Very quiet and peaceful and great value. Would recommend.
This was the most amazing hotel I have stayed in , beautiful setting and very calming , we swam in the river , the piling pool at our room was amazing as was the steam room. The food was great and the staff couldn’t do enough for you . I highly recommend this hotel if you fancy a bit of luxury.
The host was very supportive. Provided delicious meals with a wide variety. There are few natural pools nearby with easy and private access. The location has a nice view with a quiet surrounding. It's conveniently situated just 5 to 10 minutes away from Kitulgala, allowing easy access to all the adventurous activities this area has to offer. If you are a person who would love a homely stay by being closer to nature, this would be an ideal stay.
Great location out of town, private balcony and good breakfast. The manager and staff were good and they also have a small shop adjacent for those essentials.
