Our stay at The WE2 was absolutely fantastic! Special mention to Vinodh, the owner, who went above and beyond to ensure every need was taken care of. His knowledge of Sri Lanka, including its wildlife, national parks, and local foods, was exceptional.
His wife prepared the most beautiful breakfasts, featuring delicious local specialties that were a highlight of our stay. We stayed for 2 nights and were treated to amazing dinners each evening for just $18 per couple, per night, which included four flavorful curries, rice, popadoms, and dessert – incredible value! The property itself is a bird lover’s dream, surrounded by wildlife and filled with the soothing sounds of nature. The private pool and proximity to Induruwa Beach made our stay even more special. If you’re seeking relaxation, incredible food, and an immersive nature experience, The WE2 is the perfect choice!

Located a short walk from the main road & beach. The grounds are well maintained with different palm trees, shrubs, hedges etc. The manager Mr Amit was friendly & very helpful. He has his own tuk tuk & his price is very reasonable.
My garden view room was near the front entrance. Sufficient shelving & hanging space as well as a table & 2 chairs. There was a complimentary fruit basket as well. Everything worked fine. Lighting was just okay. I did not use the kitchen area.
The bed had clean linens & afforded a comfortable sleep. There was a power point beside the bed. It was handy having the mozzie net already set up.
The bathroom had a seperate enclosed shower recess with good hot water & pressure.
The terrace out front had a table & 2 chairs. The pool was a decent size & very refreshing from the heat. A decent size roofed area with plenty of tables & chairs located adjacent to the pool.
Ovetall, I had a comfortable & relaxing stay.

A simply wonderful 2 week stay amid a beautiful green oasis of carefully tended plants & a spotlessly clean & comfortable room.
Aayu is an excellent hostess from the warm welcome excellent breakfasts and all the extra touches were much appreciated.
We cannot recommend Aayu's place highly enough it is an absolute gem .

Genuinely friendly, help- and respectful family that owns the guesthouse. Made us feel at home immediately. They helped us with scooter rental, tuk tuk transport and all other questions that popped up during our stay. Star of the family is - of course - the dog Tio.

This is a great budget stay with all the basic amenities you need. The owner is super helpful—he even helps you find local spots and can take you around in his tuk-tuk if needed. The highlight was definitely the food! They serve amazing, homely Sri Lankan meals. Plus, their adorable pet dog, Mashi, made the stay even better. The location is also a big plus—just a short walk to Bentota Beach.

The place is very nice and in a good location. Easy access to the beach (private), to bars, restaurants and to Bentota. The owner is very pleasant and accommodating, he upgraded us to the apartment free of charge as we were a group of 4! One of the highlights was definitely the two boxers, Tony and Dora, who would always take us to the beach and for walk, they were good company and bodyguards! Really miss them x
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Everything was amazing. Shashi's hospitality is top notch. The breakfast was scrumptious and filling. There's a private beach access which was wonderful. Sea is a bit rough but still enjoyable. There are many restaurants nearby. Bed has a mosquito net so didn't face any bug problems.
For travel, I would highly suggest Uber or Pickmeright.

Everything! The rooms are very spacious and very clean. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. It also has beach access to a beautiful quiet beach and includes a huge breakfast every morning!
Vinodh is a great host who really looks after his hosts and their comfort. The small A frame hut is cozy but has everything it needs. It gets pretty hot during the day but the AC works very well. The small pool in front with the view of the field is a great refreshment. The beach is close by and not very touristic.
Great location right next to a beautiful beach. Nearby there are shops, restaurants and transport. Nice owner, very helpful and friendly. He organized transport for us to Colombo. He cared very much about the guests. Always ready to help. We felt very good there.
The place is located some 5 minute away from the village/Road. Very quiet and amazing at evening and night. Unobstracted view on green Meadows and trees. Full of wildlife. We saw flying foxes, bats, monkeys, frogs and variety of birds. The swimming pool was perfect. We had the place to ourselves only. The room was spacious for a family of 5. The breakfasts were different each Day (We chose local meals) and tasty. The owner is friendly, helpful and Speaks good English. We enjoyed the stay.
