It is an old-fashioned hotel. It lacks convenient modern facilities, but the owner's meticulous consideration more than makes up for it. The breakfast is served very carefully and tastes very good. If you don't mind a little inconvenience, you will be satisfied.

Lovely pool which is very clean, spacious rooms and balconies and good air conditioning. Greeted on arrival with mango juice. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The owner also arranged us a really great elephant safari in the jeep they have where we saw over 100 elephants. They also picked us up from our previous hotel and then drove us around everywhere we wanted (even at 5am for the sunrise hike!) and would wait or pick us up when we wanted which was very useful. Really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend.

Dinesh and his wife were exceptional hosts. To begin with their home is absolutely beautiful smack in the middle of lush gardens!
The rooms were comfortable in cabana style cottages and they went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. Dinesh's wife makes excellent Sri Lankan breakfast. Not to be missed.
I'll recommend this in a heartbeat.

Very clean, well-equipped and comfortable cottages side by side set in a beautiful garden with cheeky monkeys hopping from tree to tree whilst you eat breakfast al fresco. It was worth paying more to stay at this place. Garden full of birds, squirrels, peacocks. Very relaxing and quiet and private. Spotlessly clean and air-conditioned. Bathroom products supplied, a small fridge and tea and coffee and water. Host couldn't do enough for us, gave helpful advice, drove us around for a low fee, and was attentive and kind. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh juice, fruits, hoppers and Dahl. Highly recommend. Also, for dinner, I can recommend Mom's Kitchen across the road for their Sri Lankan curry only 1100 rupees.

The environment was calm and peaceful, rooms were amazing with the AC and a private bathroom. Staffs was friendly and hospitality was nice.
