Saman was super available during all my stay. He organized for me a Forest tour with a very experienced and knowledgable guide, but also my transfer to and from the villa!

We felt right at home with Thisara and his family. He gave us lovely, home cooked food, took us on a walk to meet his grandparents and sorted the best guide for our day in the Rainforest.

This was our second visit to Rainforest River Bay, and we were fortunate to be offered a free upgrade to a family room, which was much better than the standard room. The family space is located on the top floor and has a room two beds (one double, one regular) and two spacious balconies. One of them features a large table, along with a comfortable sofa and armchairs, creating a private space where you can relax with your family.
Breakfasts were included in our stay, and we also ordered dinners from the host. The food was perfect and delicious. Both the owner and his wife are very kind people. The owner works at Sinharaja National Park and can guide you through the park if you're interested.
The location is excellent, just 100 meters from the main road, in the natural bay of Gin Ganga, giving you the feeling of staying in the jungle. There’s a small forest next to the lodge where you can safely explore the local wildlife at night. You can even take a dip in the river if you like.
Overall, I highly recommend this property for nature lovers.

What great place. Large quiet lodge in gorgeous rainforest. Manager does a wonderful job probably all the jobs. One of our best Sri Lankan dinners and breakfast very generous and delicious. She organised a guide for us in Sinharaja rainforest - such an amazing guide and trek.
Great location for visiting the Sinharaja rainforest. Tour guide is arranged by the hosts. Great guide who can make gorgeous pictures and has a sharp eye for animal spotting. Beautiful swimming pool with fireflies. Definitely go swimming in the dark (in your phone light). Cute dogs. Good food by the mother for a fair price. Use a tuk tuk rather than taxi from Deniyaya, because the road is not suitable for a car. The host was kind enough to offer us a tuk tuk ride to our taxi driver. There are mosquito nets around the bed, use them!
Great location near to most of the attractions. Mr. Sarath is exceptionally good and provided all the services and he helped with getting a motor bike for us. Food is lovely. Value for money is excellent.
Such a lovely place with really friendly owner who made sure our stay was comfortable and he also arranged us a great and funny guide called Sagara for Sinharaja Forest.
We got to stay in the newly built hut and the room was clean and very comfortable. Best part was the private terrace with an amazing view to the rice field and the forest. Also the food we had here was great.
The surrounding of this place is beautiful and quiet, also with lots of birds to see.
All in all a great stay, bohoma stuthi! I will definitely come back!
