Villa River View is in an excellent location and gorgeous view of the river which makes it a peaceful retreat . The home is very welcoming and kept in pristine condition by Viraj and his lovely family. I would highly recommend staying at Villa River View as I had great advice on the local area and what to see in this beautiful part of Sri Lanka which I would have not found out as a solo traveller .

the house just exceeded our expectations. The owner is very cool! I want to go back to Sri Lanka and live only in this guesthouse. We were given a large room, treated to fruits, provided a transfer to the airport at a good price. The view from the balcony is gorgeous, the room is gorgeous, very clean, a huge house!!! incredible hospitality. we are happy that we found such a wonderful place. Genuinely friendly, help- and respectful family that owns the guesthouse. Made us feel at home immediately. They helped us with scooter rental, tuk tuk transport and all other questions that popped up during our stay. Star of the family is - of course - the dog Tio.

This is a great budget stay with all the basic amenities you need. The owner is super helpful—he even helps you find local spots and can take you around in his tuk-tuk if needed. The highlight was definitely the food! They serve amazing, homely Sri Lankan meals. Plus, their adorable pet dog, Mashi, made the stay even better. The location is also a big plus—just a short walk to Bentota Beach.

We had a fantastic stay at Residence Jasmine. A beautiful quiet spot on the river. Our room was spotlessly clean and had a lovely hot shower. The breakfasts were excellent - lovely juices.
The Wi-Fi worked very well. We had a wonderful boat trip from the hotel along the river and saw some incredible wildlife. The pool was lovely and also very clean.
Rooms were very clean. Comfotable place with very friendly hosts. Big garden area with lots of green plants. Its really close to the beach and not far away from the city center.

We had a wonderful vacation at Aluthgama House. A beautiful villa that leaves nothing to be desired: spacious and clean rooms, a great, very clean pool, a gorgeous tropical garden right on the Bentota River, very tasteful lounges, great service from the staff, including excellent breakfast and great food for dinner.
Yusuf is an excellent host who took the time to personally greet us and fulfill all our needs during our stay. He also took the time to answer all our questions before our trip, which we really appreciated! Thank you very much!
Hosting family very attentive and friendly. Great beach location. Our room on first floor c/w mosquito net, private spacious terrace with table and chairs, sun bed. Breakfast excellent, toast, omelette etc, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, juice, tea, coffee.
