I don't understand the rating.
This is a good hotel, good value for money. Everything was clean, located not too far from the city center.
Comfortable bed.
The staff is not able to speak english at all, like everywhere in Kazakhstan, so it wasn't easy sometimes to communicate, but you always find a way.
Everything is very clean and comfortable.
Even if they don't speak English, staff is very friendly and helpful (I was able to store my bag somewhere safe all day before a night train).
Location is perfect, close to the train station and the main attractions of city center.
Everything was fine, a cheap place but the room was huge, a large bed, a sofa, a smart TV, the towels were provided, shower stuff etc. There is a kitchen inside, cups, plates etc. AWESOME!
Great location from the station and for a bus to Karlag. Clean. It’s on the 5th floor and there is only lift access (couldn’t see any stairs anywhere). Some noise from neighbours. Bed was soft and could feel some springs so was improved by putting the duvet under. You can’t get into the property without the owners as there are key fobs for the door and lift. Therefore you need a definite arrival/departure time and a place to meet as the entrance is not obvious. Restaurants nearby.
Quiet and very clean. Rooms are good sized and have good facilities. Good breakfast, not too many options, but they have everything for everyone. All tasted good. Friendly staff. Comfy and soft beds. Good value for the price. The decor was very beautiful and rooms are beautifully decorated with eye for detail, one of the most estherically pleasing hotels I’ve ever stayed at.
The staff didn’t speak English but were very helpful in giving suggestions on where to go and happy to communicate by Google translate. Good location as well. City centre within walking distance.
