Good value, kind host, excellent location to intercity bus station and city bus within Sokcho. Easy walk to an array of cafes/restaurants. The simple shower setup had surprisingly good water pressure. Bed was comfortable, main window had a screen. Umbrellas offered to borrow. Good base camp to Seoraksan, which if you plan to go to, take the earliest bus or even consider an earlier taxi, it's worth it.
SokCho Station Hostel enjoys a location in Sokcho, 1.6 miles from Sokcho Beach and 3.4 miles from Daepo Port. The air-conditioned accommodations are a 11-minute walk from Lighthouse Beach.

Lets start by saying that i extended 3 times, this hostel is one of the best i've experienced so far.
Its well located in the city center, the bus for the national park is literally in front of the door!
The beds are very big for asia, comfy, with curtains, locker, towel provided. Bathroom is very good as well, spacious and clean
Staff is super friendly, super helpful and talks a bit of english, they are in the café downstairs but always ready to help you for anything
In the good things as well, There is a small breakfast and a common room with water dispenser

The room itself and the bathroom was clean. They provided a cereal and toast with butter and jam for breakfast which was nice. Had no problems checking in or out.

I enjoyed the location, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the price was fair.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
It was extremely clean! The owners are a family and very accommodating. the location was fantastic. The toiletries were brand name, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, hand soap, face products and others. The kitchen was fully stocked. Anything extra that we needed, the owners supplied. The property offered lots of beach equipment to rent for a cheap price. They also had various grills, which the owners set up and cleaned up. Great for families, couples, solo and group travelers.
