The older couple who run the guest house were supper friendly and made a great breakfast for me and my friend to share! We slept great here, even in winter the hanok is warm with the heated floors! This was a great cultural experience right in the middle of the Jeonju Historical Hanoi Village. We couldn’t have asked for a better location!

Extensive guidance on what to do in Jeonju and a super warm welcome. They reserved a parking spot for us with their own car and waited until we arrived. Wonderful house and surprisingly quiet at night. He made wooden printing blocks for a living, see pictures.

We stayed at Hanok Dream for two nights in late November. It was our first Hanok experience and the most memorable part of our 8-day trip in Korea! As other reviews have pointed out, the location is perfect and the owner is friendly.
I can’t say enough great things about the owner, Mr. Choi. We learned that he is a retired banker. He is super organized, attentive, and helpful. After he knew that my wife is a K-drama fan, he immediately marked a few famous filming locations on the map. In addition, there was a water cooler in his office, and it helped a lot for us to get hot drinking water on cold days. His wife is also a friendly lady, and we tried to communicate via the translation apps! This kind of interactions with locals really enriched our experience.
We had never slept on the floor before, but we were glad that we got used to it, with the help of extra pillows! I can’t find words to describe the wonder of lying on the heated floor and feeling the heat warming into my body through my back. I guess this is Koreans’ secret to stay healthy!
Since we stayed for two nights, we had enough time to visit all the major attractions (and great restaurants and cafes!) without feeling rushed. I especially enjoyed walking around the old town late at night or early in the morning, when the day-trippers were gone and it seemed that you had Jeonju all to yourself!
I strongly recommend Hanok Dream! Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Choi!

The location is absolutely amazing. It's close to almost every attraction is Jeonju. I never had to take a bus once I arrived. It was so close to everything that I actually would come back to rest between my activities. The owner was very nice and explained everything clearly even using translation apps to make sure I understood.
Just realize that the room will be small because of the nature of hanok houses and you will be sleeping on a Korean futon.

My wife and I felt that the house was made with great care and attention by the owner and his wife.
They made and pained small props themselves, and even kept diaries for years, capturing the history of the house in them.
The house is part of their history and life.
